Customer Support Specialist

 

Location: Winnipeg, MB             

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Customer Support Specialist will provide support for our grower and staff applications, and where necessary triage the requests to the appropriate parties.  The successful candidate will work directly with our customers and staff to assist them with their questions, comments, and issues. They will follow up with the requests and report feedback to their manager.

 

Duties may include the following:

  • Act as fist line customer support, triaging incoming issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiry telephone calls/emails.
  • Proide appropriate and correct information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
  • Resolve routine billing, shipping questions, product usage questions, etc; and present any significant customer issues to your manager.
  • Accurately maintain customer files with current and pertinent information.
  • Complete technology training as identified throughout the year. Remain current on Farmers Edge product advancements.
  • Collaborate with other teams and resources to resolve questions/issues.
  • Document processes and procedures as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoke) would be considered a preferred asset
  • A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Agriculture education preferred.
  • Agricultural experience preferred.
  • Experience and comfort with operating online platforms.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to think under pressure.
  • Commitment to continuous education about the company, products and services.
  • Some travel may be required.

Compensation:  Farmers Edge offers a very competitive compensation package. Salary dependent on qualifications and skill.
